sava club

The Sava Club is a non-profit organization which was established as a gathering place for Slovenians in the area which includes Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and Breslau. The Sava Club is focused on promoting Slovenian culture, language, and traditions. Over the years, the Sava Club has been involved in a variety of activities ranging from Oktoberfest celebrations under the name of Oberkrainer Haus, Banquets with live bands, Picnics, Beer Garden, and Bocci Ball competitions to name a few.

The Sava Club is conveniently located just minutes from Kitchener, Waterloo, Elmira, Cambridge, and Guelph. The banquet hall is situated on three acres of land with a view of the Hopewell Creek waterfall.

This natural outdoor setting, along with our large patio with grape vines, makes the Sava Club an ideal site for weddings, picnics, and other memorable occasions (delicious catering is available). Smaller gatherings can be accommodated in our new upstairs facility.
